Abstracts
Papers’ abstracts will be sent both in Spanish and English, in Microsoft Word format (Vista edition or earlier), size DIN – A4, single-spaced, Arial font, size 12 and with symmetrical margins of 2.5 cm. The extensions thereof will not exceed 100 words.
They must include the title of the paper both in Spanish and English, the full name of the author or authors, institutional affiliation and email address, keywords in Spanish and English (between 2 and 5 words) and JEL classification (two digits).
At the end of the abstract you must indicate the topic area that you prefer and whether it is a paper or a poster.
All abstracts will be sent in Word format to the official email address of the meeting (xiiirem@ehu.es).
The official languages of the meeting will be Spanish and English, so papers must be submitted in one of these languages.
Full papers
The papers must be formatted in Microsoft Word (Vista edition or earlier), single space, Arial font, size 12, with symmetrical margins of 2.5 cm and paged. The length of documents should not exceed 30 pages (size DIN – A4). The notes should be footnotes, numbered in ascending, with font size 10.
The first page of the document will include the title of the paper both in Spanish and English, the full name of the author or authors, their institutional affiliation and email address, the abstract in Spanish and English (about 100 words), keywords in Spanish and English (between 2 and 5 words) and JEL classification (two digits). If you wish to opt for World Economy Prize IV “Jose Luis Sampedro”, you must indicate it in the first page of full paper.
The tables, charts, graphs and figures to be included must be integrated within the text, properly managed and with references to the sources. Each of them must bear the type (table, table, chart or figure) together with a number and sorted from lowest to highest.
The citations to appear in the text should go into brackets, indicating the author’s last name, year of publication and number of pages.

The bibliographic references are placed at the end of the text, with hanging indent, and in alphabetical order of the authors.

The style for books is as follows: Surnames. Comma. Initials of the name. Year of publication into brackets. Two points. Book title in italics. Comma. Editorial. Comma. Place of publication. Comma. Date of first edition, if applicable, into brackets.
Example of a book reference (one author): Sampedro, J. L. (1972): Conciencia de subdesarrollo, Salvat, Barcelona.

All papers will be sent in a Word format to the official email address of the meeting (xiiirem@ehu.es).
A digital copy of each paper will be included on the conference proceedings CD.
All the papers will be evaluated by the system of double blind person.
